WebEye CMS is hosted on the world wide web cloud infrastructure, which is connected to many different cable suppliers, making it reliably accessible. No hardware other than a 3G enabled phone, tablet or PC is needed in order to access video intrusion alarms live as they happen.

Multiple guards can logon to WebEye via the Internet and see the same alarm queue. The guard closest to the intrusion site can accept the alarm, whilst the software clearly informs the other guards he has done so. Upon viewing a video clip, the guard can take the appropriate action which can include instructing the panel, through the software, to sound a siren at the intrusion site or instructing the panel to call back the guard via his mobile phone, whereby the guard can speak in real time to the intruder on site through Videofied's two way audio system (XV or XL panels only).

The guard handling the alarm is forced to comment on his actions throughout the time the alarm is handled and only when a comment is made can the alarm be successfully closed.
