VDT UK Ltd proudly announces the launch of a very unique visual verification alarm panel that requires no mains power, no wires and uses GPRS communication to transmit video alarm signals to the Alarm Receiving Centre.

How does it work?
The system is armed using a battery operated wireless keypad, which sends an arm/disarm message on an encrypted radio frequency to a control panel.

Upon arming, the battery operated control panel alerts each of the camera detectors of it's armed status.

|
The solution provides for battery operated external or internal wireless camera detectors or battery operated wireless detection only devices.
|
|
Upon detection the camera is powered up, a 10 second video clip is recorded and wirelessly transmitted over an encrypted radio frequency to the alarm panel.
|
|
If necessary an internal or external battery operated and wireless siren can be activated by the control panel.
|
|
Finally, the control panel sends, over GPRS, the alarm signal and video clip to a Sentinel Plus or Master Mind integrated Alarm Receiving Centre.

What does VDT UK Ltd uniquely do for you pre-delivery?
- At the time of purchase you provide us with the GPRS SIM card
- VDT will pre-program your alarm panel to your chosen service provided e.g. O2
- VDT will pair your chosen devices to the alarm panel
- VDT will pre-program the alarm panel to send alarm triggers to your chosen Alarm Receiving Centre
- VDT will pre-program engineer mode so an automatic connection is made to a technical support engineer at VDT for re-configuration and troubleshooting. All the engineer has to do is press 6 buttons on the keypad
- VDT will test paired devices and connection to VDT prior to solution leaving VDT offices
What does VDT UK Ltd uniquely do for you on installation?
- VDT will estbablish a connection between VDT offices and the control panel
- VDT will walk test, along with any engineer, the camera detectors once installed
- VDT will test any other devices e.g. siren, whilst engineer is on site
- VDT will ensure alarms are being received by the chosen Alarm Receiving Centre before sign off
How much does this service cost?
Other than the purchase price of the equipment needed this service is provided at no extra charge.
How easy is it for an engineer to install?
- Afix the devices to their desired location
- Call VDT for testing
- Press 6 buttons on keypad for connection to VDT support engineer
- VDT confirm connection and assist with aligning cameras, walk testing, connection to Alarm Receiving Centre etc
- VDT will not end the process until successful connection to the Alarm Receiving Centre is achieved

Summary
The solution could not be simpler to install. Afixing the cameras is about as technical as it gets! The remainder of the technical work is achieved prior to delivery and is the responsibility of VDT making the installation rapid and easy. It will cut down the amount of time on site, thus reducing your over-head and increasing your profit margin. What could be better?
